EMRI Testing Services

What is EMRI?

The Environmental Relative Moldiness index (EMRI) was developed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Office of Research and Development (ORD) as a research tool to investigate mold contamination in homes. The methodology is based on using mold-specific quantitative polymerase chain reaction (MSQPQR) to quantify 36 molds and calculate an index number for comparison with a database of reference homes.

EMRI testing can give you a sense of the quantity of settled mold spores in your home, as well as a baseline for a more thorough mold inspection. The Mold Consultants have extensive experience with EMRI testing, and can help provide a more comprehensive look at your home’s air quality as well.
